how to do it yourself on the official firmware so that the developer of the menu was launched by a long press on Power as on a test one, transplanted that file from the Gus developermenu.efi instructions

Add the necessary executable files to your EFIESP section and edit the BCD with an example:
Developer Menu Application - For WPInternals unlocked phones ONLY
Tutorial - BCD
Can we edit the BCD file of Windows Mobile 10?
Or you can flash the finished image of the EFIESP partition withcustom firmware.

Lumia 950 XL, on the wire there does not go immediately breaks MTP, you need access to C: \ PROGRAMS \

It seems that MTP breaks down if you open access through programs, but if you edit them separately, then everything should work.

Recommended instructions for flashing (expert)
  1. Maximum charge device battery. The device during a flashing may significantly discharge and does not support charging in this mode.
  2. We read and save the necessary partition images from the device:
    • Option to save partition images in Mass Storage mode:
      1. We connect the device via USB to a PC and translate it intoMass Storage Mode. The device should be displayed in the Device Manager on a PC in Disk Devices as "Qualcomm MMC Storage USB Device" and in Ports (COM and LPT) as "Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostics 9006 (COMX) ", where" X "is the corresponding COM port number.
      2. ViaeMMC RAW Toolon pcsave from devicepartition images DPP.bin, MODEM_FS1.bin, MODEM_FS2.bin, MODEM_FSC.bin, MODEM_FSG.bin (appropriately named, respectively).
Note: It is recommended (for later possible recovery of the device in case of unforeseen situations) to save images of all 34 sections of the device, the last 2 of 34 sections, given their large size, MAINOS.bin (2.4 GB) and DATA.bin (12.1 GB ) - optional.
    • The option of saving images of partitions in 9008 / EDL mode:
      1. We connect the device via USB to a PC and transfer it to the 9008 / EDL mode (we hold down the volume down key (VOL-) and the power button (PWR) on the off or reboot device at the same time before loading). The device should be displayed in the Device Manager on the PC in Ports (COM and LPT) as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COMX) ", where" X "is the corresponding COM port number.
      2. In fileparams.cmd(present in the archive with the firmware and in the toolkit MI4LTERUU) by changing it we set in the line "set SaharaComPort = comX"The device COM port number specified in the Device Manager on the PC and in the line" set FirehoseFile =X: \ XXX \ prog_emmc_firehose_8974.mbn"full file pathprog_emmc_firehose_8974.mbn(present in the archive with the firmware and in the toolkit MI4LTERUU). Save the changes.
      3. If necessary, run as an administrator executable filegetparttable.cmd(present in the archive with the firmware and in the MI4LTERUU toolkit), follow the instructions of the program and wait for the process to complete. Upon completion, the device partition information will be read from the device and saved in a file.parttable.txt(present in the archive with the firmware and in the toolkit MI4LTERUU).
Note: Present in the archive with the firmware and in the toolkit MI4LTERUU fileparttable.txtalready contains information about the sections read from the Xiaomi MI4 LTE device.
      4. Run as administrator (optional):
        • executable fileSTARTreadLITEselparts.cmd(present in the archive with the firmware and in the MI4LTERUU toolkit), follow the instructions of the program and wait for the process to complete.
Note: Settings in the filereadliteselparts.txt(present in the archive with the firmware and in the MI4LTERUU toolkit) are set by default to save only the images of the DPP.bin, MODEM_FS1.bin, MODEM_FS2.bin, MODEM_FSC.bin, MODEM_FSG.bin sections (which were not initially in the archive with the firmware) with the corresponding file names . If there are sections with the same name in the firmware folder, they will be overwritten. If necessary, the list of saved partition images can be changed.
        • executable fileSTARTreadFULLselparts.cmd(present in the archive with the firmware and in the MI4LTERUU toolkit), follow the instructions of the program and wait for the process to complete.
Note: Settings in the filereadfullselparts.txt(present in the archive with the firmware and in the toolkit MI4LTERUU) are set by default to save all images of the device partitions. If there are sections with the same name in the firmware folder, they will be overwritten. If necessary, the list of saved partition images can be changed.

ATTENTION: In no case do not flash the firmware, which includes the images of the DPP.bin, MODEM_FS1.bin, MODEM_FS2.bin, MODEM_FSC.bin, MODEM_FSG.bin sections (from a third-party device), without replacing the specified files in it with your own (or not having previously saved the original partition images of your device), otherwise, after such a firmware, you will receive missing or modified IMEI, MEID, MAC address, non-switchable “In the airplane” mode and other undesirable moments for the device’s operation, which will be difficult to fix later or it will be impossible .
  4. Flash firmware (write the necessary partition images to the device):

Present in the MI4LTERUU toolkit (in the general directory) fileConfig.cfgcontains settings for capturing images of all 34 device partitions, including DPP.bin, MODEM_FS1.bin, MODEM_FS2.bin, MODEM_FSC.bin, MODEM_FSG.bin partition images. If necessary, the list of recorded partition images can be changed.
    • The option of writing partition images in 9008 / EDL mode using CMD emmcdl (present in the archive with firmware and in the MI4LTERUU toolkit):
      1. We connect the device via USB to a PC and transfer it to the 9008 / EDL mode (we hold down the volume down key (VOL-) and the power button (PWR) on the off or reboot device at the same time before loading). on z330 go interesting?

Also interesting :)
But seriously, if the device already has firmware installed on Windows 10 Mobile, then there should be no particular problems. But in any case, it is advisable to make backup sections in advance.
At the same time, archives with firmware contain only partitions that are flashed with standard FFU firmware, while on the Windows device on markup along with standard non-firmware sections there are only 33/35 partitions depending on the installed firmware.
