1. 4K HDR content can be viewed without problems when the settings are set:
-buffer 100MB
-Wi-Fi 5G network
- Fast DLNA server
There is an opinion that without all this you can look normally, but usually it comes down to what you can normally watch if the weather on Mars is good and the phase of the moon is correct. Personally, without these three points, I always had problems viewing 4K HDR.
Increasing the buffer did not help. The error falls out immediately, as if problems with codecs. The TV set is connected via LAN from a very fast server.
Again, the built-in Sony player in the same conditions will play files without problems. Plex does it no less without problems.
I bought Vimu because it’s convenient to work in DLNA resources, and he doesn’t try to send any sneeze to the transcoder (Plex problem), it remains to understand why he doesn’t want to do the basic function like other players.

2. Say thanks to Sony. They proprietary technology motion melting stops working on non-proportional video files. Those. if the file is 1920x1080, then it works, if the BD Rip file with the cut out black stripes and has a resolution of 1920x900, then it no longer works.
The option with Remux suits me, thanks.
