Installed RetroPie 4.5 on the Retroflag GPi case (screen 3 ', 320x240) with patch overlays. Everything works fine (ES, RetroArch), but the console output does not stretch to full screen.
Does anyone have any idea which way to dig?

Update: I answer myself: uncomment in config.txt # disable_overscan = 1

There is nothing to discuss. Emulators that are not in the custom firmware (the latest build of gpsp from gameblabla, for example), but which support this device, you just need to copy to the device's memory card.
The axis is also absolutely useless to determine. But if you are interested in which one, then Linux.

Corrected framebuffer library to solve screen tearing problems. The archive version for Bittboy v2.5 and below and for Bittboy v3. At 3.5, it does not seem to work.

The unpacked r61520fb.ko file must be placed in the kernel folder in the main partition (with the existing one replaced).

Turning onRetroAchievementsin RetroPie.

At the end of the /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg file, add:

cheevos_password = "yourpassword"
cheevos_enable = true

its price is so-so ...

There is no alternative. Either the collective farm self-assembly with a bunch of hemorrhoids, or buy something like LCL Boy already from $ 250.

Recalbox - build specifically for GPi, but beta, it works very unstable. The prefix sometimes freezes when trying to set up Wi-Fi. The games added to the flash drive do not see, although I specifically walked through them with a scraper.

RetroPie is very difficult to configure in some places because of the small screen (stupidly the whole text does not fit), you have to edit the configs manually, but it works more or less stably.

Sound problem solving for Pocket Go.

On Bittboy v3, the launch of this script was broken by software-powered shutdown - after the Power Off label the screen does not turn off. Try at your own risk.

It turned out that the problem is in a specific rum and a specific emulator, so a new question: where can I set up the launch of the game with an emulator different from the default one?

I'm trying to transfer a * .sav GBA game file to a Retroflag GPi with RetroPie installed. When you start the game, this * .sav does not load, but starts from the very beginning. Perhaps it gives some kind of error message, but the text on the device is very small, nothing can be read.

What did I do:

1. Checked that the file name of the rum and save is the same
2. Checked that the save is in the correct folder (in the folder with rum, other games create save files in the same place)
3. Made chmod 777 for this file in case the emulator lacks some permissions
4. I tried to rename * .sav to * .srm, because some emulators need this extension
5. I tried to open this file on my PC and phone - everything works fine.
6. The file was created by the same emulator that is installed in RetroPie - gpsp

Where else to dig?

I would like to find out where you can see the logs of the work of gpsp, suddenly I see something in them?
For some reason, RetroArch does not display a list of emulator cores for downloading, gpsp is loaded by default, although I still see at least mGBA in RetroPie Setup.

Found how to change the kernel manually in the config. mGAB save also does not see.

Generally, what do you think, is it possible to kick in the developers so that they include the emulator of this generation Atari in the new firmware?

Perhaps in the discord. Popinay.
