- Owners of Android ™ devices - via wireless transmission from device to device
- Owners of iOS ™ devices that can choose from the following options:
* Transfer via cable from iOS device to Galaxy line device
* Import from iCloud ™
* Transfer from PC / Mac using iTunes ™
What can be transmitted?
Contacts, calendar, text messages, photos, music, (only content without digital rights, not supported for iCloud), video (only content without digital rights), call logs, notes, alarm clocks, Wi-Fi settings, wallpapers (only for devices Android)
Note: Smart Switch scans and transfers content stored on the device and on the SD card (if used)
What do you need to transfer?
- Transfer from Android device:
* From Android device (Android OS version is 4.0 or higher (according to Wi-Fi Direct technology)
- Transfer from iOS device:
* Cable transfer: iOS version 5.0 or higher, cable for iOS device (protective or 30-pin), USB cable On-the-Go (OTG) (What is a USB OTG cable? - This device turns your Samsung smartphone into USB node that allows you to connect accessories that are compatible with USB)
* Transfer from iCloud: iOS version 4.2.1 or higher, and Apple ID
* Transfer from iTunes: Smart Switch Software for PC / Mac

Galaxy: All new models of smartphones and tablets of the Galaxy line (starting with Galaxy S2)
Note: If you have a Galaxy S2 with an old OS version (GB / ICS), this may lead to incompatibility. If your S2 device does not work correctly, try updating the device firmware.
