Yesterday I made the second iPad jail. Naturally I ran into a problem, my favorite iBooks are not working.
Everything turned out to be extremely simple.
How to erase iBooks after installing iBooksFix2, which doesn’t work1. Install iFile
Cydia ->Search ->In line
Package Names & Descriptionsenter iFile.
The search gives a lot of positions, from the first line I did not install iFile (
I got angry angry message)
Installed from the second line, with the question mark icon on the left side of the application name.
2. Established
3. Run iFile
4. We climb to the address:
/var/stash/Applications.xCM6Bf (The letters at the end may differ)or
In the root folder iFile go to the folder Applications in the link above5. Click the "Change" button, put a dot in front of the iBooks.app folder, and click on the basket.
6. Reboot the device.
How to fix the work of the new iBooks on firmware 5.0.1 with a jailbreak from Absinthe1. Download from the AppStore iBooks (which was updated on the third of February of this year, do not run!).
2. Install iFile (read above how to do it)
3. Run iFile. Open the folder at:
/ var / mobile / Applications / MANY_BOOKS /Here is the most interesting, going through all the folders, and we find a folder in which there will be another daddy iBooks.app (here it is koscheeva death!)
4. Copy the folder iBooks.app to the folder
/ var / mobile / ApplicationsTo do this, click the "Edit" button, put a little red dot in front of the iBooks.app folder, click on this folder with your finger, a menu appears like when you select text (Copy, move, Remove selected), click: "Copy." Where there was a button "Change", now the inscription "Ready" - press it, and on the other side of this header will be an arrow to the left with the inscription: "Applications", press it. Scroll through the list of folders with the unpronounceable name to the bottom, click on the inscription informing us about the number of files and the remaining memory space with your finger, and hold your finger until the constext menu appears and press the "Paste" button.
5. Go to the newly copied folder.
/ var / mobile / Applications / iBooks /6. Find the magic file:
Info.plistand open it by pressing on it with your finger and selecting the very first line: "Text Editor".
7. In the lower left corner find the magnifying glass icon and click on it (this is a search)
8. In the search bar that appears, enter:
CFBundleIdentifier, right there above the search line you will see the text you are looking for, the line will look like this:<key>CFBundleIdentifier</ key>
9. What we are interested in is exactly on the next line, namely the text:
<string>com.apple.iBooks</ string>10. In this stage, we simply append the word Fix to the end, it should be:
<string>com.apple.iBooksFix</ string>11. Click "Finish", and re-block the device (it is too early to open iBooks).
12. After reboot, launch iBooks.
p.s. The ability to synchronize the library with aytyuns remained!

www.iguides.rup.s.s. I just ran into a problem that after a reboot it can crash right from the moment the application started, it was helped by reinstalling the application from the AppStore and removing the old one, without editing the files, just reinstalling. It turns out all the applications downloaded from the appstore crash (Skype, contact, iBooks), just open the appstore and close.Post has been editedKrAnT - 06.02.12, 17:23
