interesting idea. I wanted to buy. But:

Possible advantages of this, are not worth the possible risks!
You have very correctly noted the "possible" advantages and risks :)
I have been using the magnetic charging cable for a couple of years if the memory is not lying. Already several phones changed during this time, and the wires and connectors are the same.
Cons (objective):
- the port is busy (in order to plug something into the bodies, you must first remove the magnetic charging connector, for me it’s not critical, since I haven’t included anything in the USB port of the phone for a long time)
- sticks out from the port (without a cover - this is generally tin of course - I would not use it, but I always wear it in a cover)
Pros (I will not say that they are objective, let them be "personally for me"):
+ I can blindly easily and simply put the bodies on charge, even in the dark, even though how
+ if I take bodies with charging, forgetting that it is charging, I am sure that the wire will not tear the port, it simply disconnects the wire in place of the magnet and that’s all
+ the same wire for phones with different ports (the response parts are type-c, microusb, lithning), in the end, I have three of these wires (at home and in the car), and I can connect different devices
+ dust and dirt does not enter the port
+ the port is not loosened (one of the most frequent failures usually in phones)
Remarks (personal again):
- no excess heating is detected at the junction
- no significant reduction in charging speed (especially in QC mode) was also detected, although I didn’t check the Mi Mix with a stopwatch, so I don’t say anything, just write that if it charges more slowly than through a native cable it is not noticeable to me
So, I can not claim for all magnetic cables in general, but personally I do not have the problems described by you.
And there are also risks when using a standard cable, for example - pulling the port out of the phone with the meat along with the wire when circumstances fail - how can you not be happy :) And the port breaks out with constant insertion / removal of the plug. Well, to close and melt a standard non-magnetic cable can also, if it is of poor quality.

QC of course disappears
Use
WSKEN Mini 2 - there is a QC with him, because There are data contacts.

Tried, more than a month do not live)))
I have 2 years, as I already wrote, if not more - the flight is excellent.

interruption is still there anyway. According to the contacts is one thing, but on the line is another.
Well, when inserting a plug into the port, there is still an interruption. Is that in the case of a magnetic cable interrupt becomes more, yes. But the smaller the currents, the less critical it is, and in the case of QC, the currents just become smaller and the voltage higher. That is, QC, together with a magnetic cable - generally a great tandem comes out.
