Solt123, It all depends on what kind of phone. With contract soldiers, everything is quite difficult, but for non-contractual ATT it gives free codes.

ramil_az ask the seller for a photo of the box on the side where the sticker with the phone data (imei, model, color, and other nonsense). On it everything will be visible.

Rep: (1043)
this is the same as ATT rm-877

No, not the same. This is RM-875, but branded under the t-mobile, and, possibly, locked under it. If the phone in the lot has not been previously unlocked, it is better not to mess up, because it is very hard to unlock it, and sometimes it’s unrealistic at all (read this topic here:Nokia Lumia 810 (US T-Mobile) SIM unlockPeople have been looking for a whole year, where to unlock the phone, but it's useless).

Rep: (1043)
if the iron type is RM-875, this is an indication that the iron of the devices with this type is completely identical

And there is. But the whole catch is that there are two Chinese NL1020. RM-875 is a device for Hong Kong (it can theoretically be supplied with 4g European and firmware), and RM-876 is for the rest of China, with all the features described above. And here you have to ask each seller before buying what they sell, because there is the same chance of running into both options, especially if you choose from the cheapest lots (RM-876 is cheaper).

Rep: (1043)
explain your position

I will explain for him - there is no Russian language in Chinese firmware, and installing the firmware with it will not work. + Chinese firmware has several changes related to Chinese policy in relation to the outside world (integration with FB and twitter, for example, is disabled in the firmware) In addition, there is no 4G at all in any form, neither with European frequencies, nor with American .

3050 because it will be more relevant

I mean the OS version. Now it is GDR2, and this is the latest official version. There will be a release of GDR3, and it will be seen there. And all these minor changes in the firmware digits within the same OS version do not bear any practical differences in 99% of cases.

and the thing is necessary.

I do not argue, necessary, but under certain conditions. Either you use it constantly (that is, you work in the service center, “home” or official), or you pick your finger at the system (trying to break into protection, port android / any other something low-level), which often leads to the device turning up in the process.

Is it interesting at all Nokla thinks to update ATT bugs?

This is no longer Nokiev’s concern, namely ATT, they have to test it and assemble the firmware and give it to the newsletter. And since at 1020 now and so the current firmware is worth it, itch with the update they have no reasons.

Rep: (1043)
I repeat, the first four numbers are important.

Not only. At 1020 this is not visible, since the firmware is small. The first 3 groups of 4 digits are important, i.e. all but the last block, in which there is a breakdown by region.

I compressed the firmware with the 7z archiver to a size of 500 mb and put it here in the firmware section.

I can clearly see where and what you posted, but firstly, you couldn’t technically get to the firmware offered above through DataPackage Manager or NCS, and secondly, I now still have a daily traffic limit of 100mb.

I think BEST should help, or it?

help, but you still need to find it first, like any other programmer, and buying it just for your one-time use is at least unprofitable.

and what you do not want to try?

I now have some technical problems with the Internet, so I can not download the firmware and a half gigabytes.
Kolich69 @ 11/03/2013, 13:41*
Do they have the same product codes with respect to the firmware that is currently available?

Yes.

"has invalid signature."

Remove at the beginning of the file names xxxxxxxxx_, where it is present (except for ffu and nvi files).

Rep: (1043)
Randomly, on a gap, the company found 3 multicolored firmware for ATT devices, with the same versions and product codes as are available through NCS, but marked as deleted (but they can still be downloaded via http links). If there is a wish, you can try it, maybe you are lucky, and with these firmware it will be possible to upgrade to other firmware (for it is not known why they were “removed”).

But about the BEST, do you need a certain cable to it, or a device?

In general, the programmer, in fact, is both.

Rep: (1043)
beerbong yes here Kolich69 I tried to put all existing under 877 firmware on ATT, failed. So if you change something through a programmer, such as atf box, cyclone box or b.e.s.t., there you can already replace the boot with 875 and safely experiment with firmware from Europeans.

now it is no longer a ride

And why is that? If the phone was non-contractual (i.e., purchased from ATT, but without a service contract), then a ride. Well, if the contractor, then here I am sorry, to myself angry Pinocchio, were led to a low price. To contract contractors or left vendors to buy unlock codes, and with lumii often nothing comes out and return money (look, for example, in the topicNokia Lumia 810 (US T-Mobile) SIM unlock), or wait for an unofficial otvyazki through hacking (but this is very unlikely in the near future, so do not count on it).

Rep: (1043)
I want to clarify the situation a little about ATT-shnyh devices, which mysteriously learned to catch 4G in Russia. After unpacking the ATT flash, the following was found in the registry
059S9T1: RM-877 US ATT, 3045.0000.1325
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Shell \ OEM \ SystemTray \ DataConnectionStrings]

"EVDO_REVA" = "DO"
"TDSCDMA_HSUPA" = "H"
"UMTS_HSPAPLUS_64QAM" = "4G"
"UMTS_HSUPA" = "4G"
"UMTS_UMTS" = "4G"

"1XRTT" = "1X"
"TDSCDMA_UMTS" = "3G"
"EVDO_REV0" = "DO"
"TDSCDMA_HSPAPLUS" = "H"
"1XRTT_DEFAULT" = "1X"

"UMTS_HSDPA" = "4G"
"GSM_EDGE" = "E"
"TDSCDMA_HSDPA" = "H"

059T3M3: RM-877 LIGHT SWAP ENGINE GLOBAL, 3049.0000.1330
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Shell \ OEM \ SystemTray \ DataConnectionStrings]
"UMTS_HSPAPLUS" = "H +"
"TDSCDMA_DC_HSPAPLUS" = "H +"

"EVDO_DEFAULT" = "DO"
"UMTS_HSDPA" = "H"
"GSM_EDGE" = "E"
"TDSCDMA_HSDPA" = "H"

That is, AT & T deliberately deceives you, and when your phone catches HSDPA / HSDPA +, it presents you as 4G, although in fact it is still 3G. Earlier in my memory only T-mobile indulged in such a substitution of concepts, now it seems that AT & T also went there.

They write 2009 firmware on it, but from what product code is unknown.

So you at least call your RM-model, or your product code, so that you can push off from this and find out what is the latest firmware for your device.

Rep: (1043)
Kolich69, If the device does not show the 4G network in the status when it is enabled in the settings, then it is unlikely. If he showed, but the Internet did not work at that, then yes, the firmware would have helped.
