An interesting camera. As I understand it, this is the first action camera with a built-in 3 axial stub. In Sony, an optical stub, in a goopro digital, and then a mechanical one. Plus a variable focus, it seems, and this is the first camera.

These are all different things. Gimbals are called stabilizers, but they do not remove shaking, because three-axial, not five-axial. Gimbal will not replace the optical stabilizer with Sony or digital with Goupro - it only holds the horizon and the direction of the shooting, can perform smooth panning and straighten the operator's “curvature”.

But the product is really interesting, a videobloger dream. The only thing I would like to see on it is the Hasselblad camera, as in the Mavic2 Pro :-)

Interesting to kamera..hotelos poss in the HDR shooting, on the other hand, 60fps it probably will have to wait a long time, but to 30fps and could do. From what smuschaet- no video output type micro hdmi, wireless Internet access connection from a smart through BT or wifi only via an optional adapter (it is interesting for what?). Mimo application has not yet happened, and how it will work with your by Smart is another question. Bitrate in 4Q as I understand it is higher than that Hiro 7, where the 'smartphone' 78mbit 4K @ 60fps look very sweet IMHO, but 4k @ 60 would like to have more than 100Mb of the box. Now for a more or less decent bitrate vkamer 72mbit in 4k @ 30 is the bottom. I liked the price and the super wide angle optics without both chambers of Action (hello "barrel" and "soap"), as well as a choice in the PM 50fps.

... From what confuses, there is no video output of the type of micro hdmi, wireless communication with smart via BT or wifionly via an optional adapter (I wonder what?) ...

Not only. Included are two adapters for connecting iPhone or Android devices with USB-C. But, to be honest, they look like something “liquid” when smart keeps on only one plug, well, or vice versa.

But it may be optional casing-frame for different models of smart.

I also liked the box for storing the camera with recharging, and you can also hide SD cards, ND filters, adapters in the same place.

And I really hope that this accessory can be used with GoPro mounts.

I agree only with the fact that they are different things. Not one optical or digital stabilizer will replace the mechanical one;). There are enough comparisons on YouTube to understand. A familiar photographer for his Sony О±7S II with five-axis stabilization still bought the stabilizer DJI Ronin-S anyway.
And about GoPro. As soon as I insert my Hero6 into the Gopro Karma Grip stabilizer, the digital stabilization in the camera is automatically switched off and not included in the stabilizer. The question is - why? If these are different things.

The only thing that confuses me so far is some kind of autofocus bugs.

But I think that DJI will correct it with an update, or the defective camera got caught in the reviewer: rofl:

Yes, this solution does not look particularly reliable, if you touch the smart when shooting, the consequences are easy to predict, it’s good that there is a built-in display and duplication of settings.

So I'm not saying what to replace :-)
Supplement - yes. Gimbals do not remove vibrations, they keep the angle of the shooting, and due to this displacement of the camera they do not give a bump in the frame. Far objects at the same time are very stable in the frame, and shaking at others is noticeable, especially when you ride a bike.
I shoot on a camera with an optical stub, fixed in a gimbal, so the camera stub fights with micro vibrations along the horizontal and vertical axes and the close objects do not flicker.
Turning off the digital camera stub in the goupro is quite understandable - tsifrostab spoils the picture a bit, reduces the frame boundaries. If the camera is on karma, there is nothing left to keep the digital stub by default in order to get the highest possible picture quality.
I will wait for a new osmo until there are very few shots from it, until it comes out ... One advertisement, there will be no honest reviews before the official release.

There is one thing that makes this camera for smart owners withmicro usb non-usable. The fact is that the device requires activation when it is first turned on, i.e. installation of the application, accounting and communication through a wireless adapter, which is unclear how much it costs and when it will be. It turns out the camera is interesting only to owners of devices with taip s or epplovtsam. Correct if wrong.

I would like to believe, but the idea of not building in wireless modules in the camera is in my opinion erroneous. This is despite the fact that formally the subject can work without a smart.

Maybe for cheaper done. Who needs it, he will buy an additional unit, who does not need it, he can connect it directly or with a cord (such as an extension cord). In general, from the accessories I would take the filters, the battery case and the cord for connecting an external microphone. Well, something to put on a tripod, the wind will blow such a baby off the bridge if you write a long timelapse.

Rep: (1)
It is possible that without a wired station just under timelaps or broadcast. Put. Connected power. I found our camera in the wifi network and write video or time-lapse directly on a laptop or PC.

Rep: (55)
1. WiFi could be embedded in it and not through the stand, so using a wifi stub with a bank will not work.
2. There is no 1/4 connector, so fixing it on all kinds of self-stick with simultaneous control over wifi is problematic. Yes, he has his own selfie stick, but the price is unclear and not very long, and indeed the time-lapse with the wind cannot be recorded normally - it will blow off.
3. For all the possible reviews that came out on the same day, he is being touted, but I see a possible minus of stabilization are steps. The reviews are clearly visible steps. Yes, no one speaks with him to run, but for large stubs with a long handle the steps are smoothed better, unless of course you hold the stub like a candle. Immediately with this, it may not be very good, unless you attach it to a monopod, it is not clear what kind of mount.
4. Battery. Did not understand it is removable at least?

on item 1. clarified. in the wifi module there seems to be a USB-C port, the adapter costs 53 pounds

Those. For good, to the price of a subject you need to add another wifi adapter, this will be a complete solution.

Rep: (7)
Of the additional accessories on of.sayte there are only three types for pre-order. These are Osmo Pocket Controller Wheel, Osmo Pocket Wireless Module, Osmo Pocket Accessory Mount. You can order them individually or in a set that is cheaper.
Add. accessories Osmo Pocket

Unfortunately not, not removable. Enough at 1:40 shooting.
I really hope that the mount on the Osmo Pocket Accessory Mount is the same as on the GoPro, then you can use a tripod from the prot and the rest. I do not want to glue another mount on the helmet: rofl:

Vanguey, that this is the same as DJI Mavic Air 21 minutes on the passport flies: D

The main thing is to be able to shoot with external power connected.

GoPro seems to me to have a very handy thing, this is a recording from the standby mode. When the camera seems to be asleep and turned on for recording by pressing a button, it turns off after stopping. Thus it turns out to save battery. For this thing probably will not work.

The GoPro 78 is for the HEVC codec, that is, the new advanced h265, and it is 2 times more effective than the old AVC (h264).
In other words, 78 in HEVC is conditionally equal to 156 old AVC. That means 50% bit rate is higher than DJI Osmo Pocket.

Thank you, did not know this moment.

did not know this moment.

* Sser888,
The quality of any codec depends on the computing power proca. To demonstrate all the beauties of the codec 265 need higher power capacity GP-7, although it is among the most productive Action percent. In case of insufficiency of resources 265 may also work. but the image quality suffers. What to do? COX marketers. Demand for memory saving is higher than the demand for high quality. If it is so that the possibility of refusing to purchase the camera because the necessary memory prices. If in the GP-7 was a choice between 264 and 265, many, I think, would be stopped at 264 double stream. So 264 Osme pleases me. By the way do not understand why a fee 265y, not free vp9 Googley? Policy however ...
